Farmer's Market Update for May 5/22/2021

What’s happening at the farmer’s Market?

What a treat for us! We will learn many different ways to prepare strawberries!

Vendors this week:

Kelly Bhlum - beautiful wreaths
Brothers Farm - delicious veggies sold by Lillie, of "A Chef's Life" fame
Porter Farms - strawberries, pointed head cabbage, onions and lots of bottled preserves, salad dressings and marinades.
TC Smith Produce - more delicious strawberries, blueberries, zucchini, squash and an abundance of preserved fruits and veggies.
Andria Mocek - a delightful assortment of crocheted items both whimsical & useful
Seraphim Smith - locally produced bags and hand towels.
TJ Designs - so many craft items, signs, block lights and many more expressions of Teri's ideas.
ENC Honey - all kinds of seasonal honey from local beekeepers
Rodney Jarman - the pork skins, pork rinds, fried peanuts
Holy Granola - all natural treat that can be used as a topping for yogurt or ice cream, can be added to oatmeal, sprinkled on fruit or just eaten by the handful as a snack


We are delighted to welcome for the second week in a row, our first pork vendor; GrassRoots Pork Company!

GrassRoots Pork Co
. has been in operation for over 15 years. They raise animal welfare approved, non-GMO, project verified, step 4 hogs.

They grow their own grains on the farm and prepare their own feed. They are members of The NC Natural Hog Growers Association.

Stop by their booth and choose from their selection of pork products, eggs and sausages . Talk to Jessica to lean more about what they do to raise their pasture-raised meat.

Family Craziness - an eclectic collection of gifts and treats! They have candies, sugar free caramel balls homemade biscuits and anything that strikes their fancy during the week!
