UNC Lenoir Health Care accepts gift from foundation board chair

“UNC Lenoir Health Care added seventeen new graduate RNs to our workforce in May thanks in large part to a generous donation from the Lenoir Hospital Foundation,” states Misty Emory, the hospital’s Sr. Nurse Recruiter.

Adding that, “We use the foundation grant in the form of scholarships to attract and recruit nursing students by helping offset some of their college costs. It’s critical in order to be competitive in the marketplace when seeking to attract new nurses to our team.”
