Farmer's market update for May 10, 2020

What’s new at the market?

Y'all....we are So happy to welcome Crystal Shackelford of Cotton Blossom Baking Co. to our Market! Finally, we have a sweets vendor and just in time for Mother's Day. Honor you mother with one of these really special cupcakes.....not too big but not too small and just as sweet and beautiful as your mother is! Crystal will take special orders for whole cakes or any other items on her menu. (NCDA prevents sampling at the market).

Happy heart Elderberry Syrup

For sale at the market again this week! Kim Stroud began making elderberry syrup for her kids and realized the benefits very quickly. She soon turned it into a family business while she continues to be a Stay-at-home mom. Elderberries are rich in flavonoids and antioxidants, are well known for their ability to fight cold and flu, helping to boost the immune system. Happy Heart Elderberry offers ready-made syrup sweetened with raw local eastern NC honey and DIY Kits. Visit their Facebook page @happyheartelderberry.
