A prayer for education by Pastor Michelle Gooding

Most gracious Father, in the name of strong name of Jesus, we make this petition to you on behalf Family. We Pray that each member of your family would grow in love toward one another. God your word says, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." (1 Corinthians 13:4-8) Help us Father to be patient and kind when life does not appear to be kind to us. Help us be the change we desire to see. Help us build one another up in Love because Love never fails. We Pray families will be more forgiving. God your word says in." Ephesians 4:31-32 "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ forgave you.

Father bring us together in these uncertain times as family and bind families together like you never have before. We Pray that each family will grow in understanding, but Proverbs 2:2-5 "turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding–indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God."

Father in this season, give us wisdom to relate and love on our family as we remain in close quarters. God we ask that you show yourself as a buffer for many families who do not get along with one another but God you are able to be a bridge for us and we are asking you to soften hearts and hear cries of families who need peace making. We Pray that our families would be surrounded by good, godly friends. "There are 'friends' who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother." Proverbs 18:24 God help us to better friends to our family.

Help us to reach out to our families and be available to listen and be available to help one another. Father give families a mind to stick together and take care of one another. And finally, we Pray that families would always be thankful for blessings, "always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Ephesians 5:20 Thank you God for blessing your people for the blessing of family. In the Name of Jesus We Pray! AMEN

We encourage each of you today to reach out to your family, near and far. Reach out and touch their heart. We are not alone and God has established family. Thank you God for my family!
