Farmer's Market opens Saturday

Isn't this what we've all been looking for? Sweet, juicy strawberries and wonderfully flavored fresh asparagus! So delightfully delicious! Come to the market Saturday to get some for your table, also get some  local honey and while you are at it...and then go over to the House of Raeford Truckload Sale and buy their fresh, never frozen chicken breasts or thighs. Their price is right!! Remember, cash only!

We are so happy to be able to announce that the farmers market will be open for the 2020 season on Saturday, April 11th.  We have been studying ways to make our market a safe and healthy place to shop.  Basically, we ask the you enter the market building from the end nearest the RICK HOLDER ANNEX, stop at the hand sanitizing station, then continue in single file or at least 6 feet from the closest person, until  you reach the vendor you want to see.

Be sure to give the vendor 6 feet of space and deal in bills, rather than coins. Coins hold the COVID-19 virus longer. When you have finished with your transaction, please do not linger, then leave the market by the exit between TC Smith Produce and Kettle Style Sacks.

This system may be a pain for a while, but it's the only way we can have a market and comply with the rules set by the NCDH & HS. We must have your cooperation for your safety and for the safety of others.
