Michyla Dove, Kinston, basketball

Dove was the leading scorer for the Vikings in a 68-46 win over Eastern Wayne on Nov. 29 to improve to 2-0 on the season. The junior posted 17 points and also had six assists in the victory as Kinston won its 20th consecutive regular-season game.
