Ray Darden, Ayden-Grifton, linebacker

Darden had a strong game against Greene Central on Nov. 1, helping the Chargers pick up a 25-6 victory on the road. The senior carried the ball 25 times for 204 yards and all four Ayden-Grifton touchdowns in the win.

Hannah Rhem, Bethel Christian, cross-country

In her final race, Rhem made it a memorable one at the NCCSA state championships at Hagan Stone Park in Pleasant Garden. The senior placed second with a time of 22:19 as the Trojans finished their second year with a cross-country team.
