The Lenoir Community College Senator Jim Perry Aviation Center for Excellence (ACE) is progressing steadily at the Global TransPark. Site work, utility relocation, and ground stabilization are complete, with foundation slabs now poured.
By the end of 2024, major progress had been made on the new fuel farm at the North Carolina Global TransPark. Contractors completed tank coatings, pipe fabrication, and line connections. With tank crews demobilized, final grading, concrete, and asphalt work are underway. The project is expected to wrap up in early 2025.
