The Career and College Promise Admissions Staff Assistant provides support for all aspects of the Career & College Promise Program from application through enrollment, and reports to the Director of Admissions and Recruiting. The CCP Admissions Staff Assistant also assists with program and event implementation as it relates to the population served by the Director of High School Programs and College Access.
Governor Josh Stein announced that the Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) has approved 13 grant requests to local governments totaling $9,627,500. The grants include commitments creating a total of 785 jobs, 414 of which were previously announced. The public investment in these projects will attract more than $165.9 million in public and private investment.

Edward Earl Moody, Sr., 82, peacefully entered the presence of his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 15, at Spring Arbor of Wilson with his family by his side. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23, at 3:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home in Kinston, with burial to follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 23, prior to the service.
