Eddie Hudson Jr., 59, passed away on January 7th, 2025. His funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 12th, at 2PM in the Chapel at Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
John Marchand, 38, and Gina Luker, 45, were stopped by SCARR unit detectives for an equipment violation while the detectives were conducting proactive enforcement in the area of U.S. 258 North. During the stop, the detectives established probable cause for a search and located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Frazier Hughes Bruton, 92, of Kinston passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Spring Arbor of Kinston. Services will be held on Tuesday January 14, 2025, at Faith Fellowship Church, 2278 Pauls Path Road, Kinston, NC at 11:00 am. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
