Virginia man driving a stolen vehicle leads officers on a vehicle pursuit
Officers from KPD's B-Squad received information related to a vehicle being driven with a stolen license plate. Officers located the vehicle in the area of W King Street and S Herritage Street. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop and the driver failed to stop and fled from officers.
Goldsboro woman arrested for CCG & Resisting a Arrest
Officers responded to 110 W Blount Street for crowd control as patrons were leaving J's Place. Officers received reports that Andrea Broadie (33 of Goldsboro, NC) was unlawfully carrying a concealed firearm. Initially, Broadie refused to comply with the officer's investigation.

Ruth Taylor Howard, 98, of Kinston, passed away, Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at UNC Lenoir Healthcare. A Graveside Service will be conducted Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 11:30am at Pinelawn Memorial Park with the Rev. David Harrington officiating. KPD's D-Squad responded to the 700 block of Harding Avenue for a report of a vehicle B&E. Officers arrived in the area and located the offender, Zaire Corbitt (21 of Snow Hill, NC).
