On Friday, August 5, and Saturday, August 6, the CSS Neuse Interpretative Center will host its fourth annual dinner theater focusing on female spies during the Civil War. Last year the dinner theater drew more than 160 guests, so organizers decided to host the program for two nights this year to prevent crowding.

Martha Inez Queen Barrett, 91, finished her course in faith and was graciously received into her Lord’s presence on Friday, July 15, 2022. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home in La Grange. Officers located Joseph Wilson, 36 of Kinston, NC at the residence who was wanted for narcotics distribution.
