Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 27 at Pink Hill Funeral Home from 6:00-9:00. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 28 at 11:00 am at Bethel Baptist Church of Jonestown, with burial following at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Pink Hill, NC.

Jerry David Henderson, 80, died Friday, April 16, 2021, at his home in Kinston, NC. A drive-thru visitation will be from 5-7 pm Monday, April 19, 2021, at Westminster United Methodist Church. Visitors are asked to enter the church parking lot on West Road and exit onto Carey Road. A celebration of life will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, April 20, also at WUMC.
Brenda Yvonne Edwards, 75, was received into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 15, 2021. A service to celebrate and remember Brenda’s life will be held in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. with Pastors Gerald Fowler and Bob Smith officiating. Lori Ann Bear of Kinston passed away, with her two daughters by her side, on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Duke-Raleigh Hospital. Lori was 59 years old when she lost her two-month medical battle. Visitation will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home in Kinston on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm, funeral will follow directly at 1:00 pm also at Howard-Carter. Graveside service will be held at Pinelawn Cemetery in Kinston following the funeral.
