The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to please review the video and hear the suspect’s voice of the suspect from this video. The video was recorded a day before the robbery when the suspect visited the establishment to stake it out.

NCDOT Crews Work to Repair Sinkhole on Dunn Family Road in Kinston
A large sinkhole has developed on Dunn Family Road near Girl Scout Road, just outside the city limits of Kinston, following recent heavy rainfall. “I don't know that we'll have asphalt on it by the end of the week, but we'll at least have the pipes back in and the road open to traffic," said Justin Howard, the bridge maintenance engineer for Division 2 of NCDOT.

Two Lenoir County residents have been arrested and charged with animal cruelty after dead dogs were found on their property.

RALEIGH – Six North Carolina municipalities and two counties have been awarded a total of $401,000 in state and federal transportation grants to help develop bicycle and pedestrian plans.
Kinston Police seek public's help in Tractor Supply theft case
On August 11, 2024, KPD’s B-Squad responded to a theft report at Tractor Supply, located at 706 E New Bern Road. The suspects are believed to be driving a lime green sedan. Officers are currently working to identify the individuals captured in the photos. There are also reports that they may have been involved in fraudulent activities at other retail locations within the City of Kinston.

Over the past several months, members of the Kinston Police Department have noticed a significant increase in the number of checks stolen after being mailed to various businesses located in Kinston.
