KPD's Violent Crime Action Team concluded an investigation related to criminal activity that involved the distribution of illegal narcotics. A search warrant was for 2207 Ivey Road was obtained and served. During the search, officers located methamphetamine, prescription pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm. Kinston's National Night Out will be August 1, 2023, from 6p -8p in the parking lot of Historic Grainger Stadium. We will have plenty of activities including: games, a blow up water slide, dunk a police officer, and child bicycle giveaways. This is a FREE event that DOES NOT include entrance into the game.
