A man who allegedly stole a person’s vehicle and belongings at an area gym on Saturday was soon arrested in Johnston County after the theft, thanks to the quick action of a Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
Kaches Cuttino and Blonnie Minor of La Grange — were arrested Monday by Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office detectives on narcotics charges.
KPD Officers initiated a traffic stop for motor vehicle violations. During the traffic stop officers observed narcotic violations and conducted a search of the vehicle and the occupants. During the search officers located two concealed firearms.

The musical's narrative centers on Matilda Wormwood, a young girl gifted with wit, intelligence, and psychokinetic powers. She overcomes obstacles caused by her family and school and helps her teacher, Miss Honey, reclaim her life.

Grounded and Baked, a bakery and gift shop will open in August at 106 W Railroad St. in LaGrange. The bakery will include items such as cakes, pies, muffins, bread, cupcakes, cake jars, and scones. There will also be a coffee station in the shop as well. The gift shop will include outdoor decorations such as flags, bows, windmills, and pillow covers. The shop will also carry plants.

I spent the second semester of this past school year teaching English online for a Christian academy. My ninth and tenth graders were a mix of students enrolled in the virtual academy and students who attended other Christian schools that lacked sufficient numbers of high school students to justify the expense of hiring a teacher for each subject area.
