For the past four years, Robert “Bob” Enders Jr. held the title of CEO at UNC Lenoir Health Care. He assumed the helm prior to the pandemic, and led the hospital through the Covid-19 surges. With the global emergency behind us, Enders said it was time to focus on his family. After a career that spanned about 40 years, he announced his retirement. His last day was Tuesday.
