Brenda Hernandez-Flores: Balancing education, career, and campus involvement

Juggling a full-time job, college coursework, and extracurricular involvement is no easy task, but Brenda Hernandez-Flores has found a way to make it work. As she prepares to graduate with her second degree from Lenoir Community College, she has proven that with determination, time management, and a willingness to stay involved, students can take on big goals without having to sacrifice personal or professional growth.

LCPS honors top Teacher Assistant and non-instructional Staff Member of the Year

Lenoir County Public Schools is proud to announce the recipients of its Teacher Assistant of the Year and Non-Instructional Classified Staff of the Year awards. Selected from a talented pool of nominees across the district, Salisa Cobb and Andre Clark were surprised with the exciting news on Monday, February 24, when a celebration squad visited their schools to share in their moment of recognition. 

Snow Hill Primary awards Terrific Kids

Snow Hill Primary gives out a weekly award called "Terrific Kid" awards.  Each teacher at SHP chooses a student who has been responsible, shows great character, or has reached a personal goal.  On Fridays, these students are presented with an award and are congratulated for their hard work.  Below are Snow Hill Primary's last Terrific Kid Awards!
