On Sunday, November 11, 2024, at approximately 12:47 p.m., officers from the Kinston Police Department responded to a reported shooting on the 700 block of East Lenoir Avenue. Upon arrival, law enforcement located a 15-year-old male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his extremities.
A tragic hit-and-run at Kinston's Carver Courts Apartment Complex on Friday evening left a two-year-old girl dead and a 35-year-old man seriously injured.
