As of 10:40 a.m., approximately 200 City of Kinston utility customers are without power. According to Kinston Public Services’ Facebook page, “Electric crews are assessing damage due to high winds in the Hugo Rd area. Lines are down and restoration time is expected to be 2-3 hours.” We now expect the time for restoration to be about 2 hours.
