As North Lenoir High School took on Southwest Edgecombe High School last night, North Lenoir also held a moment of silence for an E. B. Frink Middle School cheerleader, Allie Palmer, and many students wore her favorite color purple. Here are a few highlights from North Lenoir's home loss.
Alexandra (Allie) Christian Palmer, 14, was born December 1, 2005 and promoted to Glory on January 11, 2020. Visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Faith Fellowship Church, on Paul’s Path Road, Kinston, N.C. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with burial following at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
The family of a Frink Middle School student mourns the loss of their daughter after an ATV incident on Saturday. The incident is currently being investigated by the Jones County Sheriff’s Department and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol per Captain Stephen L. Thompson of Wyse Fork Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
