NOTICE OF AN EVIDENTIARY HEARING
BEFORE THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LA GRANGE
NOTICE the La Grange Town Council acting as the La Grange Board of Adjustment will conduct an evidentiary hearing at its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, November 3, 2025, in the Council Chambers at La Grange Town Hall, 203 S. Center St., La Grange, NC starting at 6:00 PM. The Variance request is described below:
Variance Request: A request for a variance of 25’of the required front yard setback, 12’ of the required rear yard setback, 12’ of the required side yard setback adjacent to a right-of-way (N Forbes St), 2’ of the required interior side yard setback listed in Article 12 of the La Grange Zoning Ordinance in order to install a replacement doublewide trailer residential structure similar to what was previously onsite at 116 Coleman Ln. (Lenoir County Tax Parcel 16940)
The Town Council, acting as the Board of Adjustment, will review evidence presented by the applicant, Town Staff, and any person who would have standing to appeal the decision under NCGS 160D-1402(c) prior to taking action on a Variance request. Any accommodation specific for this application must be requested of the Town Clerk no later than 48 hours prior to the meeting.
A copy of the application may be reviewed at the La Grange Town Hall from Monday through Thursday between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM each day prior to the meeting. You may also contact the Planning Department at 252-566-3186 with any questions on this application during that same period.
