Multi-Agency Patrol Leads to 116 Charges, Five Arrests in Lenoir County

On the evening of Friday, September 25, 2026, Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reduction Team hosted a GHSP Saturation Patrol with partnering agencies across eastern North Carolina. During this event 43 law enforcement officers from twelve agencies, including Deputies, Officers, and Troopers, focused on dangerous driving and motor vehicle violations throughout Lenoir County. During the five-hour operation, 116 charges were issued with 67 warnings given.

Violations cited include: 37 Speeding, 1 Reckless Driving, 1 Misdemeanor Flee/Elude with Motor Vehicle, 1 Seat Belt Violation, 1 Child Restraint Violation, 8 No Operator License, 17 Driving While License Revoked, 19 Registration Violations, 6 No Insurance, 2 Open Container Violations, 6 Drug Charges, 5 Criminal Violations, and 12 Other Traffic Violations. Five arrests were made during this event, to include: 2 Felony Drug Arrests and 1 Misdemeanor Arrest on new charges. 1 Felony Warrant, 2 Misdemeanor Warrants, and an Order for Arrest were served.
