Lenoir County commissioners, Kinston council to discuss Down East Bird Dawgs
The Lenoir County Board of Commissioners and Kinston City Council will hold a special joint meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, to discuss matters related to the Down East Bird Dawgs.
The meeting will take place at City of Kinston Public Works, 2519 N.C. 258 South in Kinston.
A public notice issued Sept. 22 by Reekitta Deaver, clerk to the county board, did not specify which matters related to the team would be discussed.
The meeting is open to the public, and residents and members of the news media are invited to attend.
