RADD to Benefit from Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s Annual Charity Day
Raising Awareness for the Developmentally Disabled (RADD) is excited to be one of the nonprofit organizations benefiting from Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s Charity Day on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
During Tidal Wave Charity Day, 100% of proceeds benefit charities, giving community members an opportunity to get their vehicles cleaned while supporting organizations that make a difference. At the Kinston location, 50% of the proceeds will benefit RADD, with the remaining 50% benefiting Annandale Village and The Joseph Sams School.
RADD has served individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families for more than 50 years. The organization provides resources, advocacy, education, inclusive recreational activities, and community engagement opportunities for individuals of all ages. RADD also works to connect individuals and families with needed resources while creating opportunities for inclusion, participation, and meaningful connections within the community.
“We are incredibly grateful to Tidal Wave Auto Spa for choosing RADD as one of the organizations to benefit from Charity Day,” said April Houston, Executive Director of RADD. “The support we receive from our community helps us continue providing resources, programs, activities, and opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We hope everyone will come out, get their vehicle washed, and help us make a difference.”
Funds raised through Charity Day will help RADD continue providing affordable and accessible programs and opportunities while supporting its ongoing efforts to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Community members are encouraged to visit Tidal Wave Auto Spa in Kinston on Friday, September 18, anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Every wash purchased during Charity Day helps support participating charitable organizations.
