RADD to host 5th annual ride and special needs baseball event June 6
RADD, Raising Awareness for the Developmentally Disabled, will host its 5th annual RADD Ride on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in partnership with Boneyard Harley-Davidson and CVMA NC 15-9.
The event is designed to raise awareness for individuals with developmental disabilities while bringing riders, families and the community together for a day of support, celebration and baseball.
Registration for the ride will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Boneyard Harley-Davidson, 2300 Elaines Way, Winterville. The entrance fee is a monetary donation of any amount. Kickstands go up at 10:30 a.m.
The ride will travel through the North Carolina State Veterans Home, Caswell Developmental Center and Grainger Stadium in Kinston. Riders are expected to arrive at Grainger Stadium between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
Following the ride, participants are invited to continue the day at Grainger Stadium with special needs baseball, an awards ceremony, snow cones and community time. The event will also include live music and a grill-out.
โThis ride means so much because it gives our community a visible way to show support for individuals with developmental disabilities,โ said April Houston, director of RADD. โEvery rider, every family and every person who shows up helps us raise awareness one mile at a time. It is a day of inclusion, celebration and connection.โ
Boneyard Harley-Davidson is hosting the event, with a grill-out by CVMA NC 15-9.
