Request for Proposal for School Beverage Vending

  • It is the intent of Lenoir County Public Schools School Nutrition to work out a partnership/Contract with a qualified vendor(s) to supply safe, convenient beverage options for students, staff, and visitors throughout the day in our high schools following the Smart Snack guidelines.

  • Vendor(s) will be responsible for filling, repairing, and having complete liability of the vending machines along with collecting the money. 

  • Vendor(s) will need to establish a commission based structure or percentage in the proposal.

  • Vendor(s) must be able to provide proof of liability insurance, background check clearances on all employees working on machines that would be entering in schools.

  • Proposals will be accepted until September 15,2026 at 4PM through email to Danelle Turner at  danelle.turner@lenoir.k12.nc.us or on paper turned into the Lenoir County Board of Education at 2017 W Vernon Ave. Kinston, NC

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by
