Antique Village Market plans opening in Kinston
A new vendor market featuring antiques, collectibles and vintage items is expected to open this summer on North Heritage Street.
Antique Village Market, located at 2407 N. Heritage St., Suite C, will offer vendor booths with a variety of items, including antique furniture, vintage furniture, mid-century modern pieces, collectibles and other unique finds.
Owner Spencer Ashton said the business is designed as a vendor variety booth market.
“It’s a vendor variety booth market, so they have antiques, collectibles, vintage items and stuff like that,” Ashton said.
The market already has several vendors lined up, but booth space remains available. Vendors interested in joining the market can contact Ashton by email at antiquevillagenc@gmail.com or by phone at 252-933-0711.
Ashton said the opening date depends on the city approval process, but he hopes to open between mid-June and July 1.
Once open, the market is expected to operate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Ashton said customers can expect “a little bit of everything,” including antique furniture, vintage furniture, mid-century modern items and secretary desks.
“If you can think of it, we probably got it,” Ashton said.
Ashton, who is from the area, said he chose Kinston because he is local and wants to contribute to the community.
“Just trying to look to revamp downtown Kinston pretty much in this area and stuff like that, try to bring a little bit of economy back,” Ashton said.
