Julia Biggs
October 29, 1934 – April 25, 2026
La Grange-Julia Biggs, 91, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Julia was born in Wayne County to the late Claude Henry Biggs and Ether Belle Mozingo Biggs on October 29, 1934. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Myrtle Biggs Rose.
With a sweet demeanor that was exhibited to all she met, Julia was a devoted Christian lady who loved her church and church family. Originally attending Providence Methodist Church, she later joined the congregation of Garris Chapel Church where she and Clay made their home.
With a great love of home, Julia was happiest doing things around the house. From watching television to spending time with Clay, she was content. If they weren’t home, you could find them on the road headed out for a good meal, most often at Logan’s or McCall’s.
A service of love and remembrance will be held by the graveside at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Gabe Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Julia is survived by her loving and devoted son, Clay Biggs.
