Southern Roots RV Park and Campground coming to La Grange
A new family-owned RV park and campground is in development at 3291 Kennedy Home Road in La Grange, according to a post on the Southern Roots RV Park and Campground Facebook page.
The Facebook page says the campground is being built on an 80-acre property along the Neuse River. In the post, Southern Roots described the project as a “labor of love” inspired by years of camping with friends.
The sites completed so far are shaded by mature pines, hollies and oaks and include full hookups with 30- and 50-amp service. The post noted there are currently no bathroom facilities on site.
According to the Facebook page, future plans for the property include a dog park, walking trails, a lake with a white sand beach and “The Yard,” a gathering space with outdoor seating, fire pits, cornhole, lighted trees and occasional live music.
An opening date has not been announced, though the post said opening day may not be far off.
