KPD: Suspect in 2024 Homicide Arrested by U.S. Marshals

The Kinston Police Department announces that on March 4, 2026, Bryson Bradley was taken into custody in New York by the United States Marshals Service.

Bradley was wanted by the Kinston Police Department for the September 20, 2024 murder of Korie Williams. Following his arrest, Bradley will be processed and extradited back to North Carolina where he will face the charges related to this case.

The Kinston Police Department would like to extend its sincere appreciation to the United States Marshals Service and the many law enforcement partners who assisted in locating and apprehending Bradley. Their coordination and commitment to justice were instrumental in bringing this arrest to fruition.

Ironically, when Bradley was taken into custody, he was reportedly wearing a shirt that read “Notice Me.” Thanks to the dedicated work of investigators and the assistance of our law enforcement partners, that request was fulfilled.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to remain with the family and loved ones of Korie Williams as this case moves forward through the judicial process.

The Kinston Police Department remains committed to pursuing justice for victims and ensuring that those responsible for violent crimes are held accountable.
