Lenoir early voting tops 2,100 ballots through Feb. 25

Early in-person voting in Lenoir County totaled 2,102 ballots cast through Feb. 25, based on daily tallies provided by election officials. With 37,540 registered voters in the county as of the state’s Feb. 21 registration snapshot, that early-vote total equals about 5.6% of registered voters so far.

Voter registration in the Feb. 21 report showed 14,751 Democrats, 11,973 unaffiliated voters, and 10,666 Republicans, along with smaller numbers registered with other parties. For the March 3, 2026 primary election, in-person early voting ends at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, with Election Day on March 3.
