UNC Health Lenoir to Host “The Art of Healing: Celebrating Women’s Health & Wellness”
UNC Health Lenoir, in partnership with the Community Council for the Arts, will host “The Art of Healing: Celebrating Women’s Health & Wellness” on Tuesday, October 20, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Arts Center, 400 N. Queen Street, Kinston.
The special evening will highlight women’s health and wellness through informative presentations from local healthcare professionals. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about women’s health at every stage of life while connecting with members of the community.
Featured speakers include:
Dr. Keri Noeske, Vice President of Nursing, UNC Health Lenoir, presenting “Women’s Life in Balance.”
Dr. Jamie Serrano, General Surgeon, presenting “Pink & Powerful: Breast Health.”
Cierra Rowe, AGNP-C, presenting “Women’s Health: Every Stage, Every Age.”
In addition to the presentations, light refreshments and door prizes from local businesses will be available.
“We are excited to bring the community together for an evening focused on the health and wellness of women,” said Beverly Jenkins, Director of Marketing and Medical Staff Development at UNC Health Lenoir. “This event is an opportunity to share valuable health information, encourage conversations about women’s health and celebrate the importance of caring for women at every stage of life.”
