Kinston man charged twice in two days in indecent exposure case
On January 2, 2026, at approximately 7:08 a.m., officers with the Kinston Police Department’s C-Squad responded to a residence on Hardee Road in reference to a report of indecent exposure.
Officers made contact with an adult female victim who reported that her neighbor, 74-year-old Joseph Dominick, intentionally exposed his genitals to her while she was in her backyard. As a result of the investigation, the victim obtained a warrant for Indecent Exposure. Officers subsequently served the warrant and placed Dominick under arrest. He was transported to the Lenoir County Jail and held under a secured bond.
On January 4, 2026, C-Squad officers responded to a second call at the same location. The victim reported that while looking out of her bathroom window, she observed Dominick standing alone inside his residence at a window, again exposing his genitals and engaging in sexual act.
Following this incident, additional warrants were obtained charging Dominick with Indecent Exposure, Sexual Battery, and Stalking. Officers served the warrants, and Dominic was again taken into custody and placed in the Lenoir County Jail.
