Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins open new combo store in Kinston

Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins are celebrating the grand opening of a new Next Generation combo store in Kinston on Friday, Jan. 16, with giveaways, live entertainment and a Free Coffee for a Year promotion for the first 100 guests.

The new location, operated by franchisee Shreeji Donuts Group, is located at 1005 W. New Bern Road. A ribbon cutting with local officials and community members, followed by the Free Coffee for a Year giveaway beginning at 8 a.m, was held.

The newly constructed 2,100-square-foot restaurant features seating for 24 guests indoors and 20 guests outdoors and will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. The location brings both brands together under one roof, offering coffee, baked goods and ice cream in a single setting.

According to the company, the store features Dunkin’s Next Generation design, which includes a front-facing bakery case, modern interior finishes, and an open layout intended to create a bright and energetic atmosphere.

The restaurant also introduces several updated service features, including an On-the-Go drive-thru lane for Dunkin’ Rewards members who place orders ahead using the Dunkin’ mobile app. The store includes a dedicated mobile pickup area and a digital order status board for in-store pickup orders.

Dunkin’s signature cold beverages at the Kinston location are served through an on-tap system, including iced coffee, iced tea, Cold Brew, and Nitro-Infused Cold Brew, which is exclusive to Next Generation locations. Handcrafted espresso drinks are prepared using upgraded espresso equipment designed to enhance flavor consistency.

The Kinston store is designated as a DD Green Achievement restaurant, designed to use approximately 25 percent less energy than a standard Dunkin’ restaurant.

Shreeji Donuts Group currently owns and operates 16 Dunkin’ locations throughout the Carolinas.
