Lenoir Hospital Foundation Awards $140,931 in 2025 Grant Funding

The Lenoir Hospital Foundation has awarded $140,931 in grant funding for 2025 to support twelve innovative projects at UNC Health Lenoir, reinforcing its ongoing mission to enhance healthcare services for the community.

As a charitable organization dedicated to supporting the mission of UNC Health Lenoir, the Foundation provides funding for vital programs outside of the hospital’s standard budgeting process. Hospital leadership identified a range of initiatives that would benefit from additional support, and the Foundation responded with full funding for each request.

“These grants reflect our commitment to strengthening the care provided within our own community,” said Carmon Jones, Foundation Board Chair. “We are proud to support every project that was brought forward this year. Each one is meaningful and made possible through the generosity of donors who believe in the work of our hospital. We are truly grateful.”

The funded projects focus on community outreach, employee wellness, and advanced medical care, each enhancing either patient health or hospital operations. Below is a summary of the twelve grant projects funded by the Lenoir Hospital Foundation:
