Fugitive from Wisconsin captured in Lenoir County
On July 16, 2025, Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office C Shift deputies arrested Skyler Sann, 29, at The Fuel Warehouse gas station in Kinston.
Sann, a convicted sex offender from Wisconsin, had been evading extradition by camping at Neuseway Nature Park. He was wanted for fleeing the state while on parole for Possession of Child Pornography.
Deputies received information from a confidential source and coordinated a safe arrest. Sann was taken into custody without incident and is being held at the Lenoir County Jail with no bond, awaiting extradition.
