Join Us for Burgers!
Join us on Saturday around 11 a.m. in the Rick Holder Annex for hamburgers and cheeseburgers! Julie will be cooking up the best burgers with plenty of trimmings. Eat inside the annex or take your meal home!
Fresh Produce from the Smiths
Strawberry season is just about over—the last of this year’s crop will be available Saturday. Taking their place on the shelves:
Local sweet corn
Blackberries
Beets
Blueberries
Peaches
Squash & zucchini
Collards
Red potatoes
Spring onions
Pickling cucumbers
Long green cucumbers
String beans
Also available:
Turnip greens, turnip roots, mustard greens, sharp head cabbage, Florida watermelons, sweet potatoes, onions, and an assortment of homemade pickles.
B&B Eggs will have farm-fresh eggs. Sandra is in need of 12-count egg cartons—please bring any you’d like to recycle.
Porter Farms will return in a couple of weeks—they’re celebrating the high school graduation of their son, Haywood. Congratulations, Haywood! Their stands on 258 North and at the Neuse Sport Shop remain open in the meantime.

B&B Eggs and Crafts: Sandra’s handmade decoupage jar vases.
Kristy Kelly: Local author and Neuse News contributor will have chutneys and books for sale—pick up a great summer read!

Katherine and Pat will be back with their delicious, all-natural "It's Holy Granola!"
Perfect with yogurt, ice cream, or even bananas (yes, really!).
They’ll also have refreshing cold drinks available.
