Kinston Department of Fire and Rescue upgrades its water rescue capabilities
The City of Kinston posted the following on social media:
A Huge Splash for Kinston Fire & Rescue!
Kinston Department of Fire and Rescue has upgraded its water rescue capabilities, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Duke Energy Foundation and other vendor support.
This grant allowed the purchase of essential water rescue equipment, including a 2024 Sea-Doo GTX 170 jet ski with a trailer.
According to Fire Chief Chad Jackson, this new gear will dramatically increase response level.
