Fresh from the Farm: Fruits, Vegetables & Greens
Get ready for a vibrant selection of farm-fresh produce from the Smith and Porter families! This week’s offerings include:
Beets, blueberries, peaches, squash, zucchini, new potatoes, spring onions, and Florida sweet corn — all freshly harvested and ready for your table.
You’ll also find leafy favorites like collards, turnip greens, mustard greens, and sharp head cabbage, along with turnip roots, sweet potatoes, onions, strawberries, Florida cantaloupes, and Florida watermelons.
And don’t forget: B&B Eggs will have farm-fresh eggs available. If you have any 12-count egg cartons to recycle, Sandra would be grateful for the donation!
Arts & Crafts
Stop by B&B Eggs and Crafts, where Sandra has crafted beautiful decoupage jar vases — perfect for summer decorating.
Local author Kristy Kelly will also be on hand with her novels available for purchase. Kristy, who also writes for Neuse News, will be happy to recommend the perfect summer read.
Baked Goods
Sandra is back with her crowd-favorite "Liquid Gold" banana nut bread, and Kristy Kelly will be offering homemade beet chutney — with a chance of apple butter making a guest appearance.
Granola Goodness
Katherine and Pat return with their signature "It's Holy Granola!" — a delicious, all-natural treat that's perfect with yogurt, ice cream, or even straight out of the bag. One creative fan dips a banana into it bite by bite — innovative and delicious!
Crispy Delights
The Pork Skin Man is serving up crunchy goodness with pork skins, pork rinds, fried peanuts, and funnel cakes.
Find him open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays — a perfect stop for a savory snack or sweet treat.
Come out, shop local, and enjoy the best of what our community has to offer!
