Lenoir County inmates charged in new narcotics trafficking case
Two Lenoir County men already behind bars were issued warrants for their arrest as the result of a narcotics investigation by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic’s Unit.
On Tuesday, Dustin Grady, 32, and Joshua Farmer, 38, were each charged with three counts of trafficking opium/heroin and one count of conspiracy to traffic opium/heroin.
Grady, currently in the Lenoir County Jail for charges by the LCSO’s General Investigations Division, was served his warrant and received an additional $250,000 secured bond.
The LCSO was unable to serve Farmer with his warrant due to him currently serving a prison sentence for a narcotics conviction. He was incarcerated April 21 for a sentence of four-to-14 months at the Piedmont Prison in Salisbury for the crime in which he pled guilty on March 29.
