Kinston Christmas parade to light up downtown with evening celebration
The annual Kinston Christmas Parade will return on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, with an evening lineup scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. The parade will be livestreamed by Magic Mile Media, with BJ Murphy and Aleatha Thrower hosting from the newly lit Paramount Theater.
This year’s broadcast will feature guest appearances from Mayor-elect Kareem Moore, Lenoir County Commissioner Linda Rouse Sutton and Downtown Kinston Revitalization Executive Director Leon Steele.
Organizers encourage families to line the magic mile for a night of illuminated floats, community groups, marching units and holiday performances. Because the event is held after sunset, residents are invited to embrace the “light the night” theme by wearing festive lights and glow accessories.
Neuse News will also share the livestream to ensure the parade is accessible to viewers across the community.
