Greene County Sheriffs Department seeks public assistance
On 09/08/2023 around 7:40 pm Greene County Deputies responded to the Maury area in reference to a 21 year old male who had been shot.
The victim, Jeremiah Raynor of Williamston drove his vehicle to Maury Mini Mart after being shot near Langley St in Maury. Multiple gunshots were heard in the area prior to Raynor driving to the store. EMS transported Raynor to the ECU Heath with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators are still looking into the motive behind the shooting. Sheriff Sasser asks that anyone with information contact the Greene County Sheriff's Office at 252-747-3411 or gcso@greenecountync.gov . A reward will be offered for anyone who has information that leads to an arrest.
