Greene County Sheriff Drug Bust
Snow Hill - According to the Greene County Sheriffs Department Facebook page, the Greene County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit arrested 28 year old John Randolph Sauls of Snow Hill for narcotics and weapons violations after leaving the scene of an accident on August 3, 2023.
Sauls who wrecked a vehicle on SE Second St between Dobbs St and Oak St, was located by the Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit a short distance from the scene in another vehicle. K9 Unit Sasha was deployed and alerted on the vehicle Sauls was located in at the time. After searching the vehicle based on the K9 alert, Sauls was found to be in possession of methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm. Sauls was charged with Possession of a Firearm by Felon, PWISD Methamphetamines, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Sauls was given a $25,000 secured bond.
Snow Hill Police Department investigated the single car wreck and is charging Sauls with leaving the scene of an accident.
