With  committed and conscience efforts since the opening of the 2023-2024 school year in August, the entire Greene Early College staff has utilized a variety of initiatives and verbal interactions to promote positivity in the students’ academics, social growth and community consciousness.  The administration and staff are committed to these yearlong goals by staying engaged with the students.  Major focus has been on successful high school and college academic performance, attendance and community service which has had the intended  results.   Listed are the recent successes of GEC students during the first nine weeks of school. The photos include are Principal’s List(all A’s), Honor Roll(all A’s and or B’s), and student spotlight.  Perfect attendance students are recognized each month with a certificate.

Student Spotlights are student that are recognized by the Board of Education.  At the recent October meeting, five GEC students were recognized for academic performance and participation in the Americorps program, Student Ambassadors, HOSA, and SGA activities and projects.

A celebratory event will be held November 16 as  GEC’s first Student Appreciation Day.
