Firefighter Jack Mozingo remembered for his heroic service

Kinston Department of Fire and Rescue posted the following on their Facebook page: Its with great sadness to announce the passing of Jack Mozingo. Jack began his fire career with Kinston Department of Fire & Rescue in July 1993 and moved his career to Greenville Fire Rescue in 2007. Jack was an outstanding firefighter and even better person. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Mozingo family during this hard time. Rest in peace brother.

North Lenoir Fire & Rescue posted the following on their Facebook page: We are saddened to announce the passing of brother Jack Mozingo. Jack served as a volunteer firefighter with North Lenoir Fire & Rescue and a career firefighter with Greenville, N.C. Fire/Rescue for more than 15 years. In addition, Jack previously served with Kinston Department of Fire and Rescue for 14 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jack's family and the brothers and sisters at Greenville Fire/Rescue. Rest easy brother.
