Porter Farms (Jamie Porter) Sadly, Porter Farms has finished at the market for this season. They will be
open a little longer on Hwy 258 and on weekends at the Neuse Sport Shop. Thanks to the Porters for the wonderful produce they brought to us this summer. We'll see you at your stand on 258 for mums and pumpkins in the fall.

B & B Eggs and Crafts Ask market manager for eggs. farm-raised eggs, some with different colored shells. Vendor can explain why this happens. Interesting. She will also have beautiful decoupage items.

Donation Station Coming Next on Saturday, August 20th to Lenoir County Farmers Market

The N.C. Cooperative Extension Lenoir County Center is launching a Donation Station program as a way for the community to engage in supporting local food, local farmers, and food security efforts. Farmers' market shoppers will be able to purchase fresh produce and eggs from farmers and vendors, and then donate it at the Donation Station table. Shoppers can also offer a monetary donation, which will then be used to purchase fresh produce and eggs from farmers at the market at full value. At the end of each market, the donated produce and eggs will be given to the Salvation Army to serve their clients. Donation Station will be at the Farmers Market the following dates and time:



Dates and Time:

August 20th - 9:00 - 1:30

September 17th - 9:00 - 1:30

October 15th - 9:00 - 1:30

November 19th - 9:00 - 1:30
