Eastern Eye Care in Snow Hill is accepting new patients
Eastern Eye Care in Snow Hill offers over 40 years of experience, providing eye care to the residents of Greene County and surrounding areas. They are currently accepting new patients! With an emphasis on patient-centered care, Eastern Eye Care tailors each visit to ensure every person who walks through their doors is receiving the highest quality of care.
Dr. George Schertzinger established Eastern Eye Care in 1980. His son, Dr. Logan Schertzinger, joined the practice in 2017. In regards to growing his father’s establishment, Dr. Logan states “We plan to continue to do what we’re doing now by taking excellent care of our patients and ensuring that they are our priority. Providing the most optimal care we can and keeping appointments available so it’s convenient and as enjoyable as going to the doctor can be is our main focus.”
Dr. Logan graduated from Arendell Parrott Academy and went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from East Carolina University. He continued his education at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, where he earned his doctorate with clinical and academic honors.
Eastern Eye Care strives to provide exceptional care, compassion, and commitment to their patients by offering 24/7 emergency eye care. “We pride ourselves in being available for emergency care,” said Dr. Logan. “We usually can accommodate same day emergencies.” They also provide comprehensive eye care, from well visits (glasses and contact lenses) to medical visits.
Eastern Eye Care regularly manages conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, dry eye syndrome, hypertensive retinopathy, cataracts, trauma, and much more. They have well-established relationships with local primary care physicians, eye surgeons, endocrinologists, neurologists, dermatologists, cardiologists, and rheumatologists to provide collaborative and inclusive care.
Eastern Eye Care is located at 107 Parkwood Drive Snow Hill, NC 28580 and is open Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, with after hour emergency availability on Saturday and Sunday.
