Developmental Disabilities Awareness StoryWalk today

Developmental Disabilities Awareness StoryWalk today

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and today we will celebrate our beloved friends and family who are differently abled with a special children’s book called “Just Ask”.

The Partnership for Children of Lenoir and Greene Counties has teamed together with Greene County Parks and Recreation, Raising Awareness for the Developmentally Disabled (RADD), Greene County Special Olympics, and Neuse Regional Libraries for this awareness celebration walk.

Special thank you to Rouse’s Restaurant of Snow Hill! Food will be provided as supplies last. There will be resources and activities available.

Join us for some sunshine, warm weather, food and fun today at Greene County Sports Complex from 4pm-6pm.  Contact Jennelle Lewis at jlewis@lgpfc.org for questions or ways to partner with Lenoir County StoryWalk (Pearson Park) and Greene County StoryWalk (Greene County Sports Complex).
