John Heath Road to close for pipe replacement Oct. 13–17
A section of John Heath Road (SR 1122) south of Kinston will be closed to traffic beginning Monday, Oct. 13, for a pipe replacement project, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
The closure, located near Live Oak Hog Company, will remain in effect through Friday, Oct. 17, with crews working continuously throughout the week. Traffic impact is expected to be low.
Drivers are advised to follow the posted detour using Live Oak Hog Company Road (SR 1114), Davis Mill Road (SR 1121), and Mark N. Smith Road (SR 1130).
